Bisroca was founded in 2013, on a prayer of opportunity.  The word Bis-roca is a latin root word of baroque, a period of artistic style that used exaggerated motion and clear, easily interpreted detail to produce drama, tension, exuberance and grandeur.

Bisroca specialises in Film and marketing services (see sister company Bisroca Lab) that innovate the way brands are built. We dwell on the margins, and work between the cracks – in the space between Film and Online. We continue to grow lean, disrupt and pioneer.

We believe pushing the culture of contemporary art. Our team has a range experiences and expertise from Ravensbourne, National Film & Television School, Warner Bros & Google.


Bio

Founded in 2013, on a prayer of opportunity

Over the years Bisroca has grown with a team of young creatives from university, all passionate to push their creativity. We have made many milestones over the first 3 years and our team had gathered many opportunities through the medium of short films, music videos and small client projects.

The work which we have created together has established our own alumni, achieving a National Film and TV (NFTS) scholarship, a Warner Bros scholarship and a Google Digital Marketing scholarship, all from amazing projects produced by the team at Bisroca.

Dating back to the origin of creating the name Bisroca, actually spelt ‘Bis-roca’, which is the Latin root word of Baroque, ‘a period of artistic style that used exaggerated motion and clear, easily interpreted detail to produce drama, tension, exuberance and grandeur in sculpture, painting, architecture, literature, dance, theatre and music’.

Also, the term 'Baroque' describes works of art, craft or design that are thought to have excessive ornamentation or complexity of line. We felt this was a clear representation of the artistry we produce at Bisroca

Years later...Bisroca Lab was founded in 2017.

Bisroca Lab was created as sister company to operate as a content creative agency, specialising in art and culture.

At the Lab our mission is to utilise our artistic approach and cultural understanding to create "engaging art" fit for projects and social campaigns. We have a team of experienced marketers and smart creatives with skill-sets across all forms of art mediums. Bisroca Lab is a imprint of Bisroca, it's our experimental tank which we utilise to extend Bisroca's creativity out of house to collaborate with brands either new or existing.
